Reindeer Run 5K at ShawneeCraft Brewery
The Reindeer Run takes place on 12 December 2026 at ShawneeCraft Brewery and the Shawnee Inn and Golf Course in Shawnee On Delaware, Pennsylvania. The event includes a chip-timed 5K road race and a non-timed 1 Mile Walk. Participants cross a bridge onto the historic golf course; most of the route is paved with some grass sections on the course. The course is not stroller or dog friendly.
Walkers and children may participate in the 5K but must be registered for safety. The 5K has a one hour time limit. Awards are given to the top overall finishers and in age groups, with payouts three deep and age divisions including under 14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39 and continuing every ten years.
Registered participants receive a fleece line custom beanie and a commemorative beer glass; registering by 22 November guarantees a beanie while supplies last. Finishers are offered one complimentary craft beer or a soda for those under 21. Live music is scheduled after the event and food will be available for purchase at the brewery. Packet pick-up occurs on race morning inside the brewery at the Good Day for a Run table; participants should arrive before 9:30 AM to receive bibs and beanies.
