Terror of Tammany! : Columbia, NJ
Terror of Tammany is a trail race held on March 21, 2027, in Columbia, New Jersey, organized by Athletic Equation Trail Series. The event uses a 6.7 mile loop with approximately 1,750 feet of vertical ascent per loop. Two distance options follow the same loop format, with different numbers of laps.
The start and finish area is located in the campground area at Worthington State Forest. The course is described as technical and arduous; the 30K completes three loops while the 50K+ completes five loops. The 30K is presented to appeal to newer trail runners within this technical setting.
Time limits and awards are specified for both distances. The 30K has a nine hour time limit and the 50K+ has a twelve hour time limit; the 50K+ also includes an intermediate cutoff on the final loop. All finishers in each distance receive a finisher award.
Entry fees for the event are listed as $100 for the 30K and $130 for the 50K+. A route map is available through the organizer’s posted materials on CalTopo. Registration closes on March 17 prior to the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
