Trail Running calendar near Brooks 2026-2027

Two trail races, 50K and 25K, take place at Mammoth Cave National Park on October 24, 2026 starting from Bell's Tavern Pavilion. The crushed gravel out and back course has ascents and descents, cupless aid stations, and limited entries.

November 2026

A trail endurance event at Deam Lake offering 6 hour and 12 hour formats plus a one lap fun run on a 4.167 mile loop with steep sections, creek crossings, technical terrain, limited entry and prizes for top finishers.

Deam Lake Winter Warrior is the Deam Lake stop in a winter series with 6-mile, 12-mile, 4-hour endurance and virtual options on the Yellow Trail. The event uses Buzzards Roost Shelter, is cupless, and has limited parking.

December 2026

Trail running weekend near Brownstown, Indiana offering 10 mile, 50k, 100k and a 100k team relay with significant elevation, live tracking for longer events, aid stations, cabin packages, postrace food and indoor facilities.

Experience an exclusive trail event at the Harry S. Frazier Scout Reservation featuring looping courses through Kentucky forest and a runner's village by John Barr Lake with distances from 5K up to 100 miles.

Road running event in Bowling Green, KY on 12/12/2026 offering 5K, 10K and a half marathon on gravel out-and-back courses, with registration via RunSignup and finisher medals and awards available.

Trail races at Waverly Park in Louisville offering a 6.6-mile loop and a half marathon plus virtual options. The event is cupless, has an aid station about halfway, on-site restrooms, limited parking, and overall male and female awards.

March 2027

Experience an endurance challenge at Elizabethtown Nature Park featuring an 8 hour race and a 5K trail run. Navigate a scenic loop of lakeside trails and rolling woodland terrain with full aid station support.

April 2027

A 50 mile point to point trail ultramarathon on the Knobstone Trail, featuring about 10,000 feet of elevation gain, forested backcountry, shuttle service between start and finish, and gender inclusive registration and awards.

Timed 3 hour, 6 hour, 12 hour, and 24 hour run and ruck events on a 5.4 mile loop in south central Kentucky with a full aid station at the start finish and primitive camping on site.
