Course, facilities and rules

The course runs through Jackson-Washington State Forest with steep topography, ridgetop views, and laps that pass two lakes and the county high point. The course direction alternates by year; 2025 will be counterclockwise. Well-stocked aid stations are provided. Ultra-distance runners must carry an event tracker for live tracking; relay teams exchange the tracker each lap. Indoor heated facilities at the camp are used for drop bags, crew, and post-race food and showers. Camping and cabin lodging options are available nearby, and a training run is scheduled in November 2025. Pacers rules and crew restrictions apply; pacers are allowed only under specified conditions for ultra solo runners. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
