Course and race logistics

The course follows trails in Jackson-Washington State Forest, with steep topography, ridgetop views, and laps that pass two lakes and the highest point in Jackson County. The 10-mile lap is used for relay exchanges; each relay member must complete one full lap. Ultra runners (100k and relay) will use live tracking devices and must carry or exchange trackers as required. Aid stations are described as well stocked. Facilities at PYOCA include indoor heated space for drop bags and crew, post-race food and access to showers, and optional cabin and camping options nearby; primitive campsites are listed at $13 per night. Awards include a custom belt buckle for all 100k finishers, finisher medals for 50k, relay and 10 mile, and prize money for top finishers in the 100k.
