Trail Running calendar near Los Feliz 2026-2027

Join the Third Annual SCTC 5K Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving in Santa Clarita Central Park, a scenic hilly 5K with a 1K kids run. Support Santa Clarita Track Club as runners of all ages race for a great cause.

Run the LA Turkey Trail through the Santa Monica Mountains on Thanksgiving for scenic ocean and mountain views past the Nike Missile Tower. Finishers get medals, shirts, vegan tacos, race photos, a 21 and over beer garden and awards.

A 28k trail run in Fremont Canyon at Irvine Regional Park featuring about 3800 feet of elevation change and four aid stations. The course runs on fire roads, is cupless, and participants are asked to carry personal hydration.

Season finale at Crystal Cove State Park featuring 15k, 6k and Kids 1k trail races on coastal ridgelines and single track, a $2,000 15k prize purse, race shirts, finisher medals, free photography and post-race food and beer garden.

Take on the 68 mile Backbone Trail in the Santa Monica Mountains on January 16, 2027, with 13,600 feet of climbing and epic coastal views. Field capped at 200; solo entries require a prior 50 mile finish, relays of two to four welcome.
