Trail Running calendar near Dale 2026-2027

Three fully marked trail races through Afan Forest and the Rhigos range finishing at Dare Valley Country Park. Routes include steep climbs, river crossings and long descents with timed tracking, checkpoints and finishers medals.

Trail half marathon near Bridgend on 19 December 2026 with an 8 mile section plus about 5 extra miles of mixed terrain. Entry is limited to 70 runners and minimum age is 17.

A festive family-friendly fun run at Dare Valley Country Park with 2.5 km and 5.0 km routes. Finishers receive a themed medal and goody bag; the event includes an aid table, toilets, a café and free parking.

A 7 hour Time Challenge at Dare Valley Country Park offering flexible distances from 3 km up to 50 km, with lap counting for half marathon, marathon and ultra. Finishers receive a medal and a goody bag, with vegan options available.

Beach running at Pendine Sands on 11 April 2027 offering Marathon, Half Marathon, 10k and 5k distances with paid entry options and a technical T shirt, organised by Every Mile Counts Ltd.

A multi-distance sequence at Dare Valley Country Park where runners complete five races totaling 79.7 miles within 24 hours, with separate results for each race plus a combined time.
