Trail Running calendar near Sault Ste. Marie 2025-2026

Experience rugged Lake Superior coastline, old growth white pine and a finish at Upper Tahquamenon Falls in the Two Hearted Trail Run on June 20, 2026. Choose 50K, marathon or half and earn a custom finisher medallion.

Tahqua Trail Run at Tahquamenon Falls State Park offers 50K, 25K, and 10K routes that pass both Lower and Upper Falls. Enjoy rugged single track, spruce and pine forests, aid stations, and a 250 runner field.

The SOO 200 is a 200 mile trail ultramarathon around Sault Ste Marie, Ontario, across rugged Canadian Shield terrain and coastal singletrack. Sinister Sports offers satellite tracking, stocked aid stations, pro photography and race dinners.

Run a scenic 9 mile trail between the Upper and Lower Tahquamenon Falls, crossing a pedestrian bridge for a memorable island loop. Technical, hilly course with mid course aid, medals and brewery themed awards, limited to 100 runners.
