The St Andrews Day Challenge is a looped timed event held on 30 November 2025 at Brandon Country Park, IP27 0SU. Participants choose between a six-hour option or a four-hour option and run as many laps as they wish within their chosen time. The event offers recorded distances including 5k, 10k, half marathon, full marathon and ultra distances.
Location and course
The race takes place inside Brandon Country Park in Thetford Forest. The course is a 5.3 km lap on mixed surfaces, mainly gravel footpaths and grass. The Race HQ and lap point are at the start area, where an aid station is available each lap. Organisers recommend road trainers, with trail shoes optional depending on weather.
Logistics and entries
Entry is open to participants aged 18 and over on the event date. Maximum entrants are 100 and entries close on 29 November 2025. Virtual entries are available for those who cannot attend in person. Parking at the park is chargeable and marshals will direct vehicles on the day. A baggage area is provided but items are left at the participant's own risk. The event is cupless, so participants should bring a personal cup or bottle. Finishers receive a bespoke event medal unless they choose a non-specific "lucky dip" medal option.
