Yetholm Hill Race
Kelso, United Kingdom • 1 Jun 2025
The Yetholm Hill Race, held near Kirk Yetholm at the Pennine Way cattle grid car park, is a challenging 12.8 km hill running event with 760 meters of ascent. It serves as the Scottish Athletics Senior and Under-23 Hill Running Championships and is part of the Scottish Hill Runners Championship. The course is partially marked and requires participants to carry essential safety gear, including full body cover, map, compass, whistle, and emergency food.
There are no water or food stations on the route, so runners must bring their own hydration. Safety is supported by the Border Search & Rescue Unit, with proceeds donated to them. The race emphasizes self-sufficiency and safety awareness. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
