Event Overview

The WWAC Colligan League is a five-week running series hosted by West Waterford A.C. in Colligan Wood. The league takes place on five consecutive Wednesday evenings, starting on April 1.

Location and Course

The event is held in Colligan Wood, located just outside Dungarvan. From Dungarvan, participants can take the N72 and then the R672 towards Clonmel; the wood is approximately one mile along this road. Three course distances are offered on a multi-lap format:

  • 2 laps flat (approximately 2.6 miles)
  • 3 laps flat (approximately 4 miles)
  • 5 mile hills

Participation and Prizes

The league is open to all participants aged 16 and over, both members and non-members. The cost for all five nights is €20. Prizes are awarded for each distance, but participants must run on at least four of the five nights in their chosen distance to qualify for the final standings.
