WTM Night Run May

WTM Night Run is organised by Wild Trail Manchester at Chorlton Water Park, Maitland Avenue, Manchester. The run follows trails along the River Mersey and typically lasts one hour, covering approximately 4.5 to 5 miles.

The event is run at a social, conversational pace with an explicit no-runner-left-behind approach. The terrain is mainly hard-packed trails that can be muddy in places. Difficulty is described as easy.

Recommended kit includes suitable running clothes and footwear; trail shoes are recommended but not essential. Headtorches are required once evenings get darker. A limited number of Ledlenser headtorches are available to borrow for darker nights.

Car sharing is facilitated by the organiser through a group link. Images will be generated for social media during the event; participants who do not wish to be pictured should inform the organiser in advance or at the start of the run.

The event location is Chorlton Water Park car park, with the stated meeting point outside the information centre and toilet block. Entry details indicate the event is listed with free ticketing. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
