Woodland Trail

Berkhamsted, United Kingdom • 21 Jun 2025

The Woodland Trail is a charity running and walking event held at Berkhamsted Castle, Hertfordshire. Participants can choose between 5- or 10-mile routes that wind through beautiful woodland and countryside, featuring fields, pathways, and some challenging, undulating terrain. The event offers a non-competitive atmosphere with well-signed, self-guided routes suitable for walkers and runners, though it is not suitable for wheelchairs, prams, or buggies.

Dogs are allowed on the walk routes under specific conditions. Each finisher receives a unique token made from recycled bike chains. Proceeds support local people facing homelessness, poverty, and social exclusion. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
