Wisconsin Trail Series : overview

The Wisconsin Trail Series runs from April 10 to October 16, 2026, as a sequence of seven trail races across Waukesha County and Wisconsin state parks. The series is based in Oconomowoc, WI (1327 Wall Street, 53066) and is produced by Silver Circle Sports Events. Courses are walker-friendly, the series is cupless (participants must bring reusable cups or hydration gear), and rucking is offered at all events. Series and single-race registration options are available. The listed event price is $180 with a price increase scheduled after December 27, 2025. Series registrations are non-deferrable; participants may switch distances for free. To qualify for series awards a participant must complete at least 4 of the 7 races, and at least 4 completed races must be in the same distance for distance-specific awards. The scoring system awards points by age-group placement (1st = 10 points down to 10th = 1 point; everyone receives at least 1 point). Walk division is timed but non-competitive and walkers receive a finisher Woodle. Kiddo's 1K entrants receive a bib and finisher medal.
