Wisconsin Trail Series - Oconomowoc

The Wisconsin Trail Series consists of seven running events hosted over seven months. Participants traverse various scenic routes within Waukesha County and Wisconsin State Parks. The series offers multiple disciplines and distances to accommodate different athletic interests, including running, walking, and rucking.

Participants can choose from several distance options at each event:

  • 5K Run
  • 5K Walk
  • 10K Run
  • Half Marathon (21.1 km)
  • 5K Ruck
  • 10K Ruck

Rucking options involve walking or hiking the course while carrying a weighted backpack. The series is designed to be walker-friendly across all standard distances. Participants who register for the full series select a primary distance but have the option to switch between the 5K, 10K, or Half Marathon distances for any specific race at no additional cost.

A specific registration option called the All Access Pass allows runners to bypass registration lines by opting out of a race shirt. This program provides a reusable ankle strap for timing, enabling athletes to proceed directly to the start line without checking in on race day. The series concludes with a final championship event to mark the end of the season. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
