Winter Weavers' 50km / 100km Ultras - 14 November 2026

Two ultramarathon races follow the Weavers' Way and finish at Cromer Pier. The events use the marked trail from the Broads to Cromer; Boghopper signage on the course is limited so competitors must be able to use a GPX file. The races take place in winter conditions when shorter daylight, wet and muddy trails are possible.

Distances

  • 50 km from Stalham to Cromer Pier.
  • 100 km from Great Yarmouth to Cromer Pier.

Race services include indoor checkpoints with water points, food and drinks at checkpoints, a light meal and hot drinks at the Cromer recovery centre, GPS tracking for safety, and first aid cover. Finishers receive a Winter Weavers medal and there are prizes for first, second and third in the Female and Male/Open categories. A GPX course file is provided and a T shirt can be purchased for £20.

Entry information: entries open 1 December 2025 and close 7 November 2026. Entry is limited to 150 participants overall and the minimum age on race day is 20 years. Deferrals are not allowed; transfers to another participant are permitted until midday 31 October 2026. A coach transfer from Cromer to Stalham is available for the 50 km race for £12 per person. One pound per runner will be donated to Norfolk Trails. The event is licensed by the Association of Running Clubs and held under UK Athletics rules.
