Winery Run 2026 : Wandin Estate, Hunter Valley

Winery Run 2026 is a running festival held at Wandin Estate in Lovedale, Hunter Valley. The event offers multiple race distances on a course that starts and finishes on the Wandin Estate Cricket Oval and uses internal vineyard roads and half of Talga Road.

Race distances:

• Marathon (4 laps of the 10.55 km loop)
• Half marathon (2 laps of the 10.55 km loop)
• Winery 10.5 km (one loop)
• Wandin Winery Wander 5 km (short lap)
• Kids Marathon 2 km (internal vineyard loop)

The 10.55 km loop features a small climb to the top of Talga Road, a long descent, and a flat out-and-back section before returning to the Oval. The course is not flat and includes grassed and uneven surfaces. A dedicated wheelchair category is not offered for this event; participants with prams are permitted but must start at the back and be aware of uneven terrain and some slow-moving traffic.

Facilities and logistics include toilet facilities at the main pavilion, portaloos near the start and finish, and a toilet at the 2.5 km mark. Ample parking is available off 12 Wilderness Road, approximately 500 metres from the start. A secure bag drop is located at the Registration Area by the Oval. Race timing uses bib timing chips that do not need to be returned. Souvenir photos will be available for purchase. Entries are capped at 2,200 participants.

Refund and transfer policy: up to six weeks before the event a 70% refund is available; from six weeks to 14 days before the event a 40% refund is available; no refunds less than 14 days before the event. Transfers to another person via the entry page are allowed; transfers or deferrals to other events are not offered.

Cut off times are used for safety: marathon 6 hours, half marathon 4 hours, 10.5 km 2 hours, 5 km 1 hour 30 minutes. The Kids Marathon has no cut off time. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
