Winery Run - Hunter Valley

Winery Run takes place in the Hunter Valley on 18 July 2027 and is organised by H Events. The event is held among the region’s vineyards and is described as welcoming runners and walkers of all abilities. The location is about two hours’ drive north of Sydney and 30 minutes from Newcastle.

The event offers five distances:

• Marathon (42.2km)
• Half Marathon (21.1km)
• Winery 10.5km
• Winery Wander (5km)
• Kids Marathon (Approx 2km)

All events start and finish at Wandin Estate, Cricket Pavilion, 12 Wilderness Road, Lovedale NSW. Entries open in late 2026 and close the day before the event unless sold out earlier. A late entry fee applies from two weeks before race day. Entries can be transferred to another person through the entry portal for a $10 transfer fee; transfers are limited to this event only. Refunds are offered at 70% up to six weeks before the event, 40% from six weeks to 14 days before the event, and no refunds within 14 days of the event.

All participants who cross the finish line receive a commemorative medal. Age group medals are not presented; only the overall male and female winners receive prizes. Dogs are not permitted on the course. Official results and race photos are published through timing and photo partners.
