Windsor Trail Run Half Marathon

Windsor, United Kingdom • 30 Aug 2026

Run Through Windsor Trail Run

The Windsor Trail Run takes place in the historic surroundings of Alexandra Gardens in Windsor. The event utilizes well-kept paths that offer views of Windsor Castle throughout the course. Participants navigate a flat trail terrain that is designed to be accessible for different experience levels.

The event features two distinct distance options:

  • 10k with a total elevation gain of 29 meters.
  • Half Marathon with a total elevation gain of 58 meters.

The routes are well-marked and supported by a team of marshals located along the course. Participants receive chip-timed results and access to free race photography. There is an event village on-site featuring various food and drink options, as well as post-race items provided by partners at the finish line.

In an effort to address sustainability and provide high-quality gear, technical t-shirts are available as an optional purchase rather than being included in the standard entry fee. This approach allows participants to choose whether they want an event-branded shirt from the partner kit provider.

The course is set in one of the most scenic running locations in the UK, providing a flat and fast surface for those looking to experience trail running in a royal setting. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
