Course, logistics and extras

The Fun Run is held entirely on the elementary school property. The 5K uses school property, trails behind the school and connecting YMCA trails. Race day will include shirt and bib pickup and race day registration. T-shirts are guaranteed for registrations completed by January 30, 2026; after that date shirts are not guaranteed and are available as supply lasts.

Fees, awards and weather

Published registration fees are $15.00 plus a signup fee for the Fun Run and $30.00 plus a signup fee for the 5K. The 5K price increases after January 30, 2026 and shirts are not guaranteed after that date. Awards are given for Overall Male/Female and Masters Male/Female, and 1st to 3rd place in ten-year age groups from 10 and Under through 80 and Over. Trail running at Fort Yargo State Park on February 14, 2026, with 5 mile, 21K and 50K options including relay teams. Courses run on single and double track wooded trails with multiple aid stations and finish awards.
