For the standard 5K race, awards are presented to the overall male and female winners, masters winners, and the top three finishers in 10-year age groups ranging from 10 and under to 80 and over.

Proceeds from the event support children's programming at the Heard Park Community Center in the East Athens neighborhood. The race is scheduled as part of the 2026 Ticket to Ride event and is included in the Black Bag Race Series, Clover Glove Race Series, and the 2026 Firefly Trail Race Series. Timing and finish line management are handled by Classic Race Services.
