Wild Rose Half Marathon & 5K - Roseville, California

The Wild Rose event takes place on May 16, 2026 in Roseville, with races starting and finishing at Moksa Barrel House. The event offers three distance options:

  • Half marathon (13.1 miles)
  • 5K run
  • 5K walk

The half marathon follows a forked out-and-back route on the Pleasant Grove Bike Path. The paved course reports less than 240 feet of elevation gain and includes seven aid station stops served from four aid station locations with water and hydration mix.

The 5K run uses a popsicle loop through William Hughes Park. The course is flat with about 40 feet of elevation gain and includes two aid station stops from one aid station location.

The 5K walk is a noncompetitive division offered at a reduced entry fee. Walkers receive a participant award and a drink ticket from Moksa Brewing Co and are not eligible for top finisher awards or apparel swag.

All half marathon and 5K runners receive a choice of Wild Rose technical shirt or BOCO hat, a finishers medal, and a drink ticket for 21 and over. Top finishers receive plaques or standing awards. A trail 5K and 10K at Granite Beach for runners with or without dogs, featuring shaded single-track trails, mid-course aid stations, finisher medals and dog bandanas.

A two-day Spartan obstacle race at Mahon Ranch near Sacramento featuring Sprint 5 km, Super 10 km, kids races, team entries, volunteer options and spectator access.

Trail races at Mammoth Bar OHV Area in Auburn State Recreation Area on September 6, 2026. Options include a 13.1 mile half marathon and a 6.2 mile 10K, each with notable elevation gain and staffed aid stations.

An annual stadium stair climb and memorial walk at UC Davis Health Stadium honoring 9/11 first responders, with proceeds supporting the UC Davis Police Emergency Scholarship.
