Wild & Mild Night Run

Wild Running stages a night trail event based at South Brent Old School Community Centre, South Brent, TQ10 9BP. Two distance options follow marked routes across local trails and open moorland.

The route is marked, and participants are advised to carry a device with the route or use Ordnance Survey maps. The event includes a King and Queen of the Night feature, with a prize for the first runner who beats the reigning King or Queen.

Catering will be available with warm food, teas, coffees and muffins served by Really wild Coffee. After the run there will be live music and a shared sauna at the Old School Community.

9 mile route summary: the opening three miles are mainly uphill following the river to Shipley Bridge, with brief descents. A tarmac section leads onto Dartmoor, turning right at Avon Dam, crossing below the Abbot's Way and heading southeast near the head of the Harbourne, exiting near Dockwell farm. The return passes Brent Hill and Lydia Bridge, a notably muddy section.

5 mile route summary: starts at South Brent Community Centre, follows the 9 mile line toward Shipley Bridge, then splits to climb a hill and continues on mainly tarmac and paths, returning via Didworthy.
