Wight Riot

Wight Riot is a coastal mixed terrain running event at Hurst Rd, Milford on Sea, Lymington SO41 0PY. The route follows the coastal path with views of the Isle of Wight and passes Sturt Pond Nature Reserve. The course uses an out and back lap that measures 5.3 km (3.28 miles).

Participants may choose their own distance, with options from 5K up to ultra-marathon distances. All finishers who complete one lap or more receive a medal. Number pick-up takes place on the day at race registration before a runner starts.

An aid and drinks table is available at the start and finish of each lap, offering a selection of savoury and sweet items. There is also an area to leave personal items. The event does not provide single use plastic cups, so participants should plan accordingly. Public toilets are available at the start and finish area and at points along the route.

Distance restrictions apply to participants aged 20 or under in line with UK Athletics rules. The event holds TRA License Number 7399. Paid parking is available at the start and finish. Local public transport options include Morebus services and nearby train stations at New Milton and Lymington Town; services may be limited at weekends.
