Course and Location

The Wight Riot takes place on a coastal path at Milford on Sea. The route offers views of the Isle of Wight and passes through the Sturt Pond Nature Reserve. It is a mixed-terrain, out-and-back course along the coast. Each lap is 5.3 km / 3.28 miles long.

Event Format

Participants can choose their own distance, from 5K up to ultra-marathon, by completing multiple laps. The event has flexible start times within a 90-minute window. All runners must finish within a maximum of 7 hours.

Facilities and Information

An aid station with a selection of savoury and sweet items and drinks is located at the start/finish of each lap. Participants may leave their own items in a designated area. The event does not provide plastic cups. Public toilets are available at the start/finish area and along the route.

Bib collection is on the day at registration. Final instructions are sent via email before the event. According to UK Athletics rules, distance restrictions apply to participants aged 20 or under. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
