Wight Riot is a mixed-terrain running event held on the coastal path at Hordle Cliff West, Cliff Rd, Milford on Sea (SO41 0NT). The route runs along the coast and passes Sturt Pond Nature Reserve, with views of the Isle of Wight. The course uses an out-and-back lap format. All finishers who complete one lap or more receive a medal. The event holds a TRA license number 7399. UK Athletics distance restrictions apply to participants aged 20 or under.

Number pick-up takes place on the day at race registration. An aid and drinks table is provided at the start/finish of each lap, offering a selection of savoury and sweet items. There is an area to leave personal items. Organisers do not provide plastic cups. Public toilets are available at the start/finish area and along the route. Paid parking is available at the start/finish. Public transport options include Morebus services to the area (nearest bus stop Whitby Road) and nearby train stations New Milton and Lymington Town. Night orienteering in Brockenhurst: a 60 minute score event in the New Forest. Visit as many controls as you can for points using SIAC timing and waterproof maps, and bring high visibility clothing and lights for after dark navigation.
