Anaconda Whitsunday Trail Fest - Airlie Beach QLD

The Whitsunday Trail Fest takes place on Sunday 13 September 2026 in Airlie Beach, Queensland. The event marks its 20th year and is the eleventh year the Whitsunday Running Club has hosted the festival. Races occur on the Airlie Beach foreshore and nearby trails, with pre-race registration and race pack collection at the race precinct on Saturday 12 September.

  • 700 m Bendigo Community Bank Junior Beach Bash

The WTF58 is an out-and-back course that ascends into Conway Circuit National Park. The first 28 km are self-supported to the Brandy Creek turnaround. The terrain combines fire trail and narrow walking tracks with steep rocky sections and creek crossings; minimum age is 18 and experienced trail running ability is required.

The WTF28 is a point-to-point route from Brandy Creek to Airlie Beach. Mandatory gear is checked at race pack collection and water stations are minimal along the trail. The Honeyeater 11k includes an ascent to a lookout over the Coral Sea and has a minimum age of 15.

Race packs for selected events include an event shirt (guaranteed for entries by 30 June 2026), a finishers medal, and a numbered bib with pins. Fundraising listed A$63.33 raised against an A$1,000 goal. Sponsors include Anaconda, Bendigo Community Bank and Accom Whitsunday, with additional in-kind partners.
