Trail Running calendar near Whitsundays 2026-2027

Experience a rugged trail run through the interior of Hamilton Island. This event features a challenging 24km half marathon, team relays, and multiple flat distance options for junior runners.

A beach running event at Whitehaven Beach in the Whitsundays on 24 May 2026. Distances include 21.1 km, 10 km, 5 km and junior races with published entry fees.

A seaside trail run in Bowen with three marked distances featuring rocky single track, coastal sections and on course support including timing, first aid and hydration; registration opens December 2025.

A multi-distance trail festival in Airlie Beach featuring a 58 km ultra, 28 km point-to-point, an 11 km challenge and kids beach races, organised by the Whitsunday Running Club for its 20th year.
