Whitsunday Trail Fest : event overview
Whitsunday Trail Fest is an annual trail running event held in the Whitsundays, with races using the Conway Circuit and finishing on the Airlie Beach foreshore. The festival includes a range of distances and race formats that take place on trails within the Conway National Park ranges.
Event races include:
- WTF58 58 km (ages 18 plus)
- WTF28 28 km (ages 18 plus)
- Honeyeater 11k 11 km (ages 15 plus)
- Kids Beach Bash (700 m and 1 mile options; ages 4 plus and 8 plus)
- Survivors Beach Bash (ages 11 plus)
Registration for the 2027 event opens on March 1, 2027. Entry packages for many events include a numbered bib, pins, a finishers medal, a race bag and an event shirt; the event shirt is guaranteed for entries made by 30 June, after which shirts are not guaranteed. Entry fees vary by event and age category; a late fee applies from 1 July 2026 for the listed pricing cycle.
Pre-race activity and race pack collection are held on the day before the event at the race precinct in Airlie Beach. Presentations are held after the races to recognise top finishers in the main race categories. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
