Wharfedale Trail Half Marathon

The Wharfedale Trail Half Marathon takes place on Saturday 6th June 2026. It is a flagged trail race covering 13.2 mile with over 2,000 feet of total ascent. The route follows established footpaths, including the Dalesway and Mastiles Lane, and passes viewpoints such as Scott Gate, Mastiles and Boss Moor.

Prizes total over £900 and include a course record incentive of £300 for female and £100 for male. The course record prize increases from £100 each year to a maximum of £300 and, if the prize is claimed, the amount reverts. Additional awards include a Wharfedale Trail Half Marathon race memento and various spot prizes.

The event is organised to raise funds for Wharfedale RUFC, a community rugby club and member of RFU National League 2 North. Funds are used to improve facilities for both rugby and non‑rugby users of the clubhouse. On the day the rugby club provides facilities free of charge; organisation, facilities and marshals are provided by volunteers. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
