Wharfedale Trail Half Marathon

The Wharfedale Trail Half Marathon takes place on 6 June 2026 at Wharfedale Rugby Club in Threshfield, near Skipton in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. The event is organised by Wharfedale Marathon Events and is held under UK Athletics and Trail Runners Association rules.

The race is a 13.2 mile trail course that is flagged throughout. It follows well established footpaths including the Dalesway and Mastiles Lane, with over 2,000 feet of total ascent. Notable viewpoints on the route include Scott Gate, Mastiles and Boss Moor. The event uses the SPORTident timing system; race numbers and timing cards are issued on the day.

Prizes total over £800 and include course record prizes, a specially designed event memento and various spot prizes for competitors. Entry opens on 21 November 2025 and closes on 3 June 2026.
