West Point Break Trail Race takes place on Sunday, February 8, 2026, at West Point Lake (Georgia side), with a start address of 500 Resource Management Road, West Point, GA. The event is part of the Southern Singletrack series and offers trail loop races on Turkey Run Trail. The course begins on a wide grassy roadbed next to the lake, then connects to gently rolling singletrack. Each loop has about 150 ft of elevation gain and at least half of the trail runs along the lake.

Both distances are scenic loops with some short sections of road mixed in. The field is capped at 100 runners. Every registered participant receives a custom BOCO running cap; 100 caps have been ordered. All finishers receive a finisher award. Overall male and female winners will be recognized.
Logistics and policies
Registration closes Wednesday, Feb 4 at 11:59 PM ET. Early bird pricing applies before Jan 18, 2026: $55 for the 5K and $65 for the 10K. After Jan 18 the entry fees are $70 for the 5K and $80 for the 10K. A portion of proceeds will be donated to Chattahoochee Riverkeeper. There is one on-course hydration aid station. Finish-line provisions include bottled water, CeraSport, bananas, and snacks. No transfers, refunds, or deferments are allowed. All runners must start on time; late starts will not be allowed.
