The Welsh 3000's Ultra Run takes place on Saturday 13 June 2026 in Snowdonia, North Wales. The guided mountain run crosses the 15 Welsh 3,000 ft peaks, covering the Carneddau, the Glyderau and the Snowdon range and including the traverse of Crib Goch. The route is described as approximately 30 miles (50 km) with about 4,000 m of ascent. The organiser states the event is not a race.

Logistics and entry

The event is run by trail runners with British Mountain Leader and British Athletics qualifications. Transport to the start, a mountain guide and a support vehicle are included. Food stations provide hot and cold options. The organiser notes the route is a tough challenge and recommends prior marathon-distance experience.

Bookings open 4 July 2025 and close 5 June 2026. Minimum age is 18 on the event date. The booking fee listed is £170. Booking requires a SiEntries account to register or log in. Tour De Yr Wyddfa is an epic winter loop around Yr Wyddfa, climbing 2327 m on the full 43.5 km route. Solo, pair or two leg relay entries are welcome, but runners must meet mountain experience and kit requirements for safety.
