Winter Weavers' Way Ultramarathons : 14 November 2026
Winter Weavers' Way offers two ultramarathon distances along the Weavers' Way trail in Norfolk, organised by Boghopper Races. The event is listed as a UTMB Index Race and follows the full length of the Weavers' Way for the longer distance. Entries for 2026 are closed.
Distances
- 50 km Weavers' Way from Stalham Poppy Centre to Cromer Pier
- 100 km Weavers' Way from Great Yarmouth Rugby Club to Cromer Pier
The 50 km route passes North Walsham and the stately homes of Blickling Hall and Felbrigg Hall, then descends toward a seaside finish at Cromer Pier. The 100 km route follows Breydon Water, crosses Halvergate marshes to Acle, runs beside the River Bure to Hickling, and joins the 50 km course at Stalham before finishing at Cromer Pier.
Checkpoints are placed at villages and halls along the routes, including stops at North Walsham, Blickling, Erpingham and Hanworth; several checkpoints note local community support. A recovery centre and drop bag facility are based at Cromer Community Centre.
