Reepham Cross Country
Reepham Runners host an annual winter cross-country race at Whitwell Station, Reepham on 31 January 2027. The event is open to juniors aged 13 and over and to adults. The course follows traditional cross-country terrain with muddy tracks, dykes and ditches, rivers to run through, open meadows and several twists and turns.
Distance options
- 1 lap - approximately 5K
- 2 laps - approximately 10K
Facilities and event arrangements include external toilets at Whitwell Station and parking on site with marshals to direct vehicles. There are no water stations on the course; runners have access to water when they pass through Whitwell Station after completing the first lap. Medical cover is provided at Race HQ and around the course by Rescue Medical Solutions.
Dogs are not permitted on the farmland because of sheep grazing; dogs may be present around Whitwell Station but are prohibited on the running land. The event uses compostable cups, will not issue race medals, and supports local charities with a focus on nature and the environment. Cash prizes are offered for top finishers in senior and junior categories. Entries are non-refundable and non-deferrable; transfers to another participant are permitted until 23 January 2027.
