WausaUltra Solo, Double, Limitless - Wausau, WI

WausaUltra is a multi-day trail event held at Sylvan Park in Wausau, Wisconsin over the weekend of May 7 to May 9, 2027. The event uses a single measured loop of 4.167 miles that runs mostly on trail with several climbs, single-track sections, a creek and small bridges. A central start and finish area serves as home base with space for tents, aid, bathroom facilities and parking between loops.

There are multiple participation options with separate pricing and entry deadlines. Solo and Double entries cover one or two loops on the same 4.167 mile course. The Limitless event follows a backyard or last-runner-standing format in which runners repeat the loop until only one remains or the event ends. A short kids race for children 12 and under is expected to be just under half a mile.

Key event details include open registration beginning January 2, 2027 and registration closing May 5, 2027. Entry fees are listed for each option and no race day sign ups are available. Registrations are final with no deferral or refund option; transfers to another individual are permitted and switching from Limitless to Solo or Double is allowed without a refund of the fee difference.
