Wausaultra Single, Double, Limitless
Wausau, United States • 1-3 May 2026
The WausaUltra event, held in Wausau, Wisconsin at Sylvan Park, offers three race formats: Limitless, Double, and Solo. The Limitless race is a "last runner standing" challenge where participants run a 4.167-mile mostly trail loop every hour starting Friday morning, continuing until only one runner remains or until midnight Sunday. The Solo and Double options, held on Saturday, allow runners to complete one or two loops (4.167 or 8.334 miles) within three hours, catering to both competitive and recreational trail runners. The scenic, hilly course features wooded single tracks, creek crossings, and a home base with amenities. A kids' race under half a mile is also offered free for children 12 and under.
