WausaUltra takes place in Wausau, WI from May 1 to May 3, 2026 at Sylvan Park. The event offers three race options: Limitless (a backyard/last-runner-standing format), Solo, and Double. Course and race formats
The event uses a single loop course of 4.167 miles, mostly trail, with rolling terrain, climbs, single-track sections, a creek and bridges. A central home base with tents, aid, bathroom facilities, and parking is located at the start/finish area and is accessible each loop. The course description notes hilly sections, a gravel approach through trees, a tubing-hill climb, a section along school property, and a fast descent back to the home base.
