Wasatch Trail Run Series – Heber
The event takes place on the Jordanelle Ridge Trail System, also called Coyote Trails, in Heber. The course uses single track and features ridge views described as Switzerland like. On-site registration opens at 5 PM. Parking options have been expanded.
Water is not provided on the course. Participants are expected to carry a full hydration pack or bottle; water is available only at the start and finish. The series is cupless, so no disposable cups will be provided.
Parking and access details are provided for nearby streets and lots. Streets highlighted in green on the event map are non-restrictive parking, though one access road is dirt and parking is allowed only on one side. A yellow pin marks a carpool meet-up at 3000N. Orange areas near the start/finish require four person carpools. A brown path leads to the start/finish; from the southernmost green street (Fitzgeralds) the path is just over 0.75 miles. Fitzgerald Road is paved despite map markings.
Course options include two distances with stated elevation gains: Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
- Short Course: about 5 miles, 700 ft elevation gain.
- Long Course: about 9 miles, 1000 ft elevation gain.
