Wasatch Trail Run Series – Heber
The event is held on the Jordanelle Ridge Trail System, also called Coyote Trails, near Heber. The course uses single track that runs along the ridge and offers extensive views of the surrounding valley.
On-site registration is available at the venue. Parking is organized with new options; primary parking is at Utah Valley University in Heber. Some nearby streets are non-restrictive for parking, though one access road is dirt and allows parking on only one side. A designated carpool meet-up is located at 3000N, and some areas next to the start and finish are reserved for four-person carpools. A path from the southernmost green street (Fitzgeralds) leads to the start and is just over 0.75 miles; Fitzgerald Road is paved despite map markings.
Aid and logistics: there is no water on the course. Participants should carry a full hydration pack or bottle. Water is provided at the start and finish only. The series operates without single-use cups.
Race course data:
- Short course: about 5 miles, 700 ft elevation gain.
- Long course: about 9 miles, 1000 ft elevation gain.
Directions note that travel times can be affected by traffic on Highway 40 when entering Heber Valley; allow extra travel time. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
