Wandering Moose 35k

Kelowna, Canada • 10 Oct 2026

Event Details

The Wandering Moose trail running event takes place on October 10, 2026, at Myra Canyon Adventure Park in Kelowna, British Columbia. The event offers three distances: 12 km, 25 km, and 35 km. A kids race of approximately 1.5 km is also available.

All courses finish on the Angel Springs trail section, noted for its technical terrain with roots, rocks, and creek crossings.

Course Information

The 35 km course starts on the historic Kettle Valley Railway (KVR) at 1250 meters. After a flat section, runners descend through trails like Capitan Nemo and Lost Lake. The route incorporates parts of the 2024 course run in reverse, passing through areas like Earring and Surf 'n' Turf trails before returning to the KVR.

The 25 km course also begins on the KVR. It features single-track trails in Myra Bellevue Provincial Park, including Blancher's Silver and a descent via Doc Savage. A climb on Lookout and Crawford trails leads back to the KVR for a flat stretch before the final descent.

The 12 km course starts with a cruise along the KVR before dropping down into Myra Bailout trail and merging into the Angel Springs section.

A separate kids race is approximately 1.5 km long and is not timed. All entry fees from the kids race are donated to the Canadian Mental Health Association's Georgia's Wish initiative. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
