The Wanderers' Trail Race takes place on January 25, 2026 at McArthur Pavilion on the edge of the Maryville College Woods in Maryville, Tennessee. Event distances include:
- 5k
- 5k (Students 14 and under)
- Kids Trail Mile
The 5k course runs through the woods and crosses hills, dales, rocks, roots, streams, and grassy knolls. The Kids Trail Mile follows a similar wooded course. The race will be chip timed. Aid is provided on course, and participants are urged to carry their own water. Results will be posted on the Knoxville Track Club website and on Runsignup.com.
Registration, fees and policies
Online preregistration fees are $25 for the adult 5k and $15 for students 14 and under. The kids run fee is $7. Late registration on race day is $30 for the main race and is not eligible for KTC discounts. The event has a no refunds and no bib transfers policy. Season pass bundle deals are offered (for example, a 7-for-$109 pass and a kids 7-for-$29 pass) with expiration dates noted by the organizer. T-shirts are limited edition and restricted to one per runner per season. To qualify for series awards entrants must be KTC members and complete two volunteer sessions. Runners under 12 must be accompanied by an adult in the adult race, and an 18:00/mile minimum pace will be enforced with a sweeper. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
