Vulcan's Fury Trail Race

The Vulcan's Fury Trail Race takes place in Pawtuckaway State Park in Nottingham, New Hampshire. It is a rugged trail race on a course described as very technical and scenic.

Two distances are offered: a Half Marathon and a 5 Miler. The course involves traversing a boulder field, running through dense forest, descending single-track switchbacks, jumping streams, crossing bridges, and climbing a rocky slope called the Devil's Staircase. The event runs during the peak of New Hampshire foliage. There will be three aid stations along the course with water and other supplies.

For the Half Marathon, there is a cut-off time of 2.5 hours at the second aid station (mile 7.7) and a cut-off of 3.5 hours at the third aid station (mile 10). Runners who do not meet these cut-offs will receive a ride back to the start/finish line.
