Valley View Mike Donahue Memorial 5 Miler
The Valley View Mike Donahue Memorial 5 Miler is scheduled for Saturday, November 8, 2025, at Hydaway Outdoor Center in Lynchburg, Virginia. The in-person race is the second event in the Fall Liberty Mountain Trail Series. The course uses single-track trails and mountain roads on the Liberty Mountain Trail System.

Logistics and awards
Packet pickup is offered the day before at LaHaye Rotunda and on race day at Hydaway (locations only). Entry fees listed are $35 for the 5 Miler and $20 for the Virtual 5 Miler; the in-person price increases after November 7, 2025 and virtual registration ends November 7, 2025. Virtual participants may run any time during November 7–9 and can submit their time online. T-shirts are guaranteed for registrations made by October 30; virtual shirts are mailed the week after the race.
Awards are given to the top three male and female overall finishers, top three male and female in each age group, and top male and female masters (over 40). Overall awards are ranked by gun time and age-group awards by chip time. The event is organized in partnership with the Liberty University Military Affairs department and includes finisher recognition within the LMTS series for those completing all five series races.
