This mountain trail race takes place on Vail Mountain with the start at Mid-Vail, reached by Gondola One. The 2026 courses are rerouted. The 10K returns to the Grand Traverse route and crosses Vail Mountain back bowls. Both courses offer views of the Vail Valley, the Gore Range and alpine wildflowers.

At the finish, participants receive donuts and fresh fruit from Northside Kitchen; custom race t-shirts are available in multiple materials and sizes. Awards are given by age group for both distances, and all racers are entered in a post-race raffle; winners must be present to claim prizes.

Registration includes preregistration and day-of options, with youth pricing at 35 percent off. Parking is recommended in Vail Village or Lionshead parking structures. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
