Event Details

The Haunted 5K, 10K, & 13.1M takes place on Saturday, October 10, 2026, in Katy, Texas. The event start and finish area is at the Mason Creek Hike & Bike Trail, located at 2500 Porter Road. It features three distances: a 5K, a 10K, and a Half Marathon.

Course Information

All courses are out-and-back routes on the trail. The 5K and 10K share a 0.78-mile segment; the 5K requires running this segment two times (totaling 1.56 miles), and the 10K requires running it four times. The Half Marathon uses a different 1.09-mile segment and requires running it six times (totaling 2.18 miles). The overall course time limit for all distances is 3 hours and 30 minutes.

Registration and Logistics

All participants must register online via RunSignup; there is no on-site registration. Packet pickup begins 30 minutes before the race start and ends 10 minutes before it begins. A map pin is provided for the designated event parking location.
