Red, White and Blue Half Marathon - Houston

This event, organized by Bigfoot Running Company, takes place at Kingdom Builders Center in Houston, TX. Multiple race options are offered on the same day, including in-person and virtual choices. Course surfaces may include paved trails, crushed granite, and occasional dirt paths as the races proceed through parks and green belts.

Distances offered:

• Kids Dash - about 50 meters for ages 10 and under
• 2 Mile - untimed event, shirt and medal included
• 4 Mile - chip timed; age group awards and overall trophies
• 8 Mile - chip timed; overall trophies and age group awards
• Half Marathon 13.1 Miles - chip timed; overall trophies and age group awards
• Virtual Run - 13.1 miles, virtual participation option
• Volunteer then Run - volunteer then run 4 mile; limited to first 15 signups

All finishers receive a medal and shirt. The 4 mile, 8 mile, and half marathon feature overall trophies for top finishers and age group awards; masters (age 40+) receive special recognition pins. Age group pins are awarded for multiple standard brackets from 10 and under through 70 plus.

On-course support includes aid stations and water. Post-race provisions include bottled water and snacks at a race rally tent where a DJ will play music. Packet pickup is offered beginning 1.5 hours before the race, and there is a shirt guarantee cutoff 10 days before the event.
