US Road Running - Katy

The US Road Running event in Katy, Texas, takes place at the Mason Creek Hike & Bike Trail. This event is part of a recurring club race series that is open to the public, with no membership required to participate. The race features a variety of distances held on paved paths.

Participants can choose from three distinct distances:

  • 5K
  • 10K
  • 13.1 Miles (Half Marathon)

The 5K and 10K participants use a 1.56-mile out-and-back course. Runners completing the 5K distance cover this course two times, while those participating in the 10K cover it four times. A total course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes is enforced for all participants.

Registration must be completed online prior to the event, as there is no option for on-site registration. Packet pickup is scheduled at the race location shortly before the start. Every finisher receives a themed medal. The event also includes a costume contest, though dressing up is not mandatory. Designated parking is located near the trail entrance as indicated by the event map coordinates. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
