UNAA Ultimate OCR 3K
The UNAA Ultimate OCR 3K is an obstacle course race that covers a full 3k course arranged in 300 meter increments. The course includes more than 25 obstacles and is presented without mud, with an emphasis on obstacle density over long running sections.
Championship editions listed in the event material include July 11, 2025 at Dallas Market Hall in Dallas, Texas, and July 13, 2026 at New Holland Arena for spectator viewing. The event has served as a USA OCR team qualifier for the 3k division.
Competition structure and classes are provided by age as of January 1, 2025. Classes include Elite, 13 to 15, 16 to 29, 30 to 49, 50 plus, 10 to 12, 7 to 9, and an Open class. Elite and age groups are timed using a chip timing system; the Open class is not timed. Events are offered for both male and female competitors.
A three band wrist band system governs obstacle penalties. Obstacles are designated as mandatory completion or single attempt. Athletes receive three bands; officials observe obstacles and remove bands for failed attempts. Athletes who lose all three bands are recorded as non complete and are ineligible for awards. Finish line rules require penalty loops after the final obstacle for bands lost before crossing the finish line.
Top three in each age category and Elite receive a large 5 inch medal. All finishers receive a medal and a shirt. The Elite male and female divisions carry a combined prize purse of four thousand dollars. Chip timed live results are posted but are tentative until the end of the day.
