Ultimate OCR 3K

The Ultimate OCR 3K is an obstacle course race organized by the Ultimate Ninja Athlete Association. Editions are listed for July 11, 2025 at Dallas Market Hall and July 13, 2026 at New Holland Arena. The 3k course is laid out in 300 m increments and includes more than 25 obstacles.

The event offers multiple competition classes separated by age as of January 1, 2025: Elite, 13-15, 16-29, 30-49, 50+, 7-9 and 10-12. All classes are held for both male and female divisions. Elite and age-group entries are timed; the Open class is untimed. There are no pre-qualification requirements to compete. All athletes with a UNAA Finals athlete pass receive a complimentary entry ticket; separate registration applies to those not competing at the UNAA World Finals.

A three-band system governs obstacle scoring. Obstacles are categorized as mandatory completion or single-attempt technical obstacles, and officials are stationed at obstacle stations to observe attempts and remove bands when rules require. Athletes who lose bands must complete penalty loops placed after the final obstacle and before the finish; athletes who lose all three bands are considered non-complete and are ineligible for awards. Chip timing is used and live results are published with a note that results may be tentative until the end of the day.

Awards include a total $4,000 prize purse for Elite division winners. Top three finishers in each age category and Elite receive a large 5 inch medal, and all finishers receive a medal and a shirt. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
