Two Hearted Trail Run : overview
The Two Hearted Trail Run takes place June 20, 2026 in Paradise, Michigan. The event offers three distances:
- 50K
- Marathon
- Half Marathon
The course is about 80% single track and 20% dirt forest road or two-track. The 50K and marathon follow Lake Superior coastline on high bluffs and shoreline forests, and they travel inland along Culhane Lake and the Little Two Hearted River. Runners encounter sections that pass through areas recovering from past fire, pine forests, ridges overlooking tamarack bogs, and the Giant Pines Trail with 300-400 year old white pines. The half marathon is a loop through old growth white pine forest and a ridge on the southern shore of Clark Lake. All races finish near the Upper Tahquamenon Falls, with Camp 33 Brew Pub about 200 meters from the finish.
