Turquoise Trail Ultra

Turquoise Trail Ultra is a multi-distance trail race held along the historic Turquoise Trail near Cedar Crest, New Mexico. Racers can enter 13k, 26k, or 52k, each looping around the Gutierrez Canyon Open Space with about 1,000 feet of climbing per lap. The course offers 100% single-track terrain, rock gardens, and juniper-studded mountain scenery.
The event is cup-less, with two aid stations (start/finish and mid-course at roughly 4.6 miles) and fresh, on-course and finish-area snacks, including burritos. New for 2026, finisher socks replace medals. Start/finish is at Gutierrez Canyon Open Space parking; overflow parking at a nearby church.
