The True to the Brew Trail Run/Hike Half Marathon is scheduled for Saturday, October 3, 2026 in Spartanburg, SC. The event is a point-to-point trail course on the Palmetto Trail Croft Passage and covers 13.1 miles. The field is capped at 250 runners. The course is described as technical and moderate with some hills and has a four hour cut-off time. Participants must be at least 14 years old. Strollers and dogs are not allowed on the course.

Logistics, services and rules

The start area is near Cedar Springs Baptist Church (355 Cedar Springs Road) and the finish is on Croft State Park grounds. Parking is available at Cedar Springs Baptist Church and the SC School for the Deaf and Blind. Organizers will provide shuttles from the finish back to the parking area. Packet pick up is offered the day before at RJ Rockers Brewing Company and on race morning at Cedar Springs. Aid stations are placed roughly every 3 to 4 miles and at the finish; water, Gatorade and nutrition bars will be available. Restrooms are provided at the start and finish. The Spartanburg EMS unit will be at the finish line and ATV support is available for trail medical issues. The event operates rain or shine; there are no refunds or deferrals. Shirt guarantee deadline is September 1, 2026. All finishers receive a custom bottle opener medal and breakfast will be served near the finish.
