True to the Brew Trail Run/Hike 13.1 Half Marathon
The True to the Brew Trail Run/Hike is a half marathon held on October 3, 2026 in Spartanburg, South Carolina. The event covers 13.1 miles along the Croft Passage of the Palmetto Trail and follows a point to point route that finishes on Croft State Park grounds. The field is capped at 250 participants.
The course is described as technical with some hills and has a four hour cut off. Aid stations are located approximately every three to four miles and at the finish. Directional ribbons and signs and mile markers are provided; restrooms are available at the start and finish. For safety, no strollers or dogs are allowed on the course, and participants must be at least 14 years old.
Parking is available at Cedar Springs Baptist Church and the SC School for the Deaf and Blind; shuttles run from the finish back to the parking area. Packet pick up is offered before race day at a local brewery and on race morning. All finishers receive a custom bottle opener medal and breakfast is served at the finish. Awards are presented for overall, masters, and five year age groups. Medical support includes Spartanburg EMS at the finish and trail assistance by ATV if needed.
