Trotternish Ridge Race

The Trotternish Ridge Race is a challenging 27km mountain running event held on the Isle of Skye, Scotland, from Flodigary to Storr Lochs along the scenic Trotternish Ridge. Featuring approximately 2000m of ascent and descent, the course is unmarked, requiring competitors to navigate between unmanned checkpoints using map and compass skills. Limited to 75 participants due to environmental restrictions, the race includes key checkpoints with marshals and water stations.
