Event Overview
The Triffic Trail is an annual trail running event held entirely within the grounds of Trent Country Park in Enfield. The race route takes participants through a variety of terrain, including woodland trails, grassy fields, and tarmac roads. The course also features several undulating sections and hills.
Available distances include:
- 10 km Senior Race (minimum age 16)
- 4.5 km Junior Race (ages 12 to 15)
- 2 km Fun Run (minimum age 9)
Technical Information
The Senior Race is conducted under UKA rules. All participants receive chip timing, and results are published online following the conclusion of the event. Race photography is provided, with images made available for free digital download. The junior and fun run courses include additional marshals for participant support.
Participant Requirements
This event is strictly for runners; due to the nature of the terrain and uneven surfaces, the course cannot accommodate walkers, guided runners, or wheelchair competitors. For safety reasons, the use of pushchairs and running with dogs are not permitted.
Entry fees vary for affiliated and unaffiliated runners, and a percentage of all registration fees is donated to local charity partners, including the North London Hospice, Nightingale Cancer Support Centre, and the Wildlife Rescue and Ambulance Service.
