The event is a trail marathon and half marathon held at the Trapp Family Lodge trail system in Stowe, Vermont. It is organized by Ironwood Adventure Works and is scheduled for October 17, 2026.
The course is a 13.1 mile loop that full marathon entrants run twice. About two thirds of the loop is double track and dirt road and about one third is serpentine single track. The route includes steep climbs and descents, sections that require steep scrambling, and a newly updated climb to the highest point on the Trapp Lodge property, Round Top Mountain. Runners will experience notable elevation gain and loss on the course.
