About the race
The Jeff RUN sonville Turkey Trot takes place on November 26, 2026 in Jeffersonville, Vermont, on the Cambridge Greenway Trail. The event includes short distance run/walk options and is based at the open field behind VT Canoe and Kayak at 4805 VT-15.

- 1.2 Miles - Jeff RUN sonville 2K Family Trot Run/Walk
Registration opens September 9, 2026 and closes November 26, 2026. Entry fees listed by the organizer are $25.00 for the 5K and $10.00 for the 2K.
The course follows a flat, scenic section of the Cambridge Greenway Trail with both start and finish in the open field behind VT Canoe and Kayak. Races will be timed for participants who want to track pace. Strollers are allowed on the course and dogs are not permitted. Turkey costumes are explicitly welcome.
All proceeds benefit Cambridge Recreation, supporting local programs such as Cambridge Youth Softball and Baseball, Girls on the Run, swim lessons, and the Ski and Ride program in conjunction with Smuggler's Notch, as well as funding for future local races.
