Wonderfalls Trail Run

The Wonderfalls Trail Running Festival takes place in the Otway mountains behind the seaside town of Lorne, along Victoria's Great Ocean Road. The event is based at Cumberland River Holiday Park and uses trails in the surrounding Otways.

The course includes river crossings at the Cumberland River in the opening kilometres, climbs through coastal bushland, singletrack through forest and sections with waterfall scenery. Runners encounter technical descents and varied trail surfaces as the routes move between river, forest and coastal bushland.

The festival offers multiple race distances, from short trail runs to ultramarathon distances. Course maps and GPS files are provided for each distance. Wonderfalls is the third event in the Trailsplus Mountain Series.

Trailsplus donates one dollar for each participant to Canteen, the Australian organisation for young people living with cancer, and has surpassed donations of $90,000 to Canteen.
