Tower Tag Challenge
Hamden, United States • 6 Dec 2025
Tower Tag Challenge is held at Sleeping Giant State Park in Hamden, Connecticut. The course follows the Tower Trail, a crushed-gravel carriage road that climbs about 600 feet in 1.5 miles to the Observation Tower, offering sweeping park views and, on clear days, Long Island Sound. Each Tower Tag attempt is an up-and-back loop of about 3.3–3.4 miles, starting at the park pavilion, with a short paved section at the start and finish. Runners choose between 8-hour and 4-hour formats to complete as many laps as possible. The event is cup-less, with hydration carried, medals from Ragged Cuts, sponsor swag, and a post-race spread.
